Jennifer Knapp – Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, author, and advocate, returning home to Chanute for her induction and live performance.
Carolyn Kinsett – CHS Women’s Tennis State Champion, collegiate standout, Pitt State’s first female athletic scholarship recipient, and Boston Marathon qualifier.

5 members of the Chanute Symphonic Band represented us July 18th at the Kansas Bandmasters Association Middle-Level Honor Band. They spent the morning and afternoon rehearsing in Wichita and presented a concert in late afternoon. This is like a Middle School All-State Band for Kansas. They had the immense privilege of being under the baton of composer and conductor Tyler S. Grant!
