StuGo shows appreciation to CHS staff on Thankful Thursday
It takes a lot of hard work to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for 600 students. That’s one reason the CHS Student Government Organization decided to provide lunch for the school’s cooks and custodians a week after the event.
It’s “to show them that we appreciate them because they do so much for our school,” said StuGo member Mikayla Kwek.
“They’re here every day and they make our food so we should make them food in return,” added Nolan Werner.
They planned the meal of pulled pork, cheesy potatoes, salad and green beans for Thankful Thursday, said StuGo sponsor Karen Graham, “to thank them for all the work they do for the Thanksgiving meal and all they do for us all year.”
